Our Standard Pricing
Our pricing structure is based per kennel / pen for your dog / cat, the length of their stay and whether you choose any little additional extras.
This allows us to offer a tailored stay for your pets that suits your budget and your pet’s requirements. So no matter whether you want to provide your pampered cat with a luxury stay, or you just need a day stay to ensure your dog is looked after while you’re away for the day, we can offer an affordable and convenient service for you and your pets.

Rates are per 24-hour period, or part thereof.
A discount of £0.25p per day / night is made where a guest supplies their own food.
Please note that the cattery is closed on Christmas Bay, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, a surcharge will be applied for these days, £5.00 per kennel and £3.50 per cat pen.
Extras and other Services
‘Walkies’ – Our dogs are exercised in our central yard area 3 times a day and in the summer and when the weather permits we use our ‘doggie play area’, however some guests prefer that their dogs have lead walks. If you require a lead walk a small additional charge is applicable, £1.75 per day for ½ hour of ‘walkies’.
Our Doggie Day Care service will ensure that there is No more stressed out dogs that have been left home alone all day and No more little accidents or chewed furniture to greet you on your arrival home. An earlier drop off time is available to suite your requirements, contact us for further details.
Here at Hafod-Y-Bryn we can also take expert care of your small animals, from rabbits to guinea pigs to hamsters to mice, we can board these animals in appropriate housing and provide them with a high level of supervision and attention. So if you need a holiday home for your small pets alongside your dog or cat we will take care of them for you.

Like you, we hope your pet will remain in good health for the duration of their stay here at Hafod-Y-Bryn. However, should your pet fall ill, you can rest assured that veterinary treatment will be available.
If your pet does require any attention from a vet whilst they are in our care, we will notify the person you have nominated as your pet’s emergency contact as soon as is possible. If there is even the slightest chance you think your emergency nominee may be hard to reach, feel free to give us as many contact numbers as you want. In all cases, we will take your pet to our local veterinary practice,
If your pet comes to us with a pre-existing condition, we will do our best to take them to your own vet for follow on treatment as long as your vet is local to us. If they are not, we will take your pet to our local vets and ask your practice to fax over the history of treatment for your pet.
Your dog or cat will be insured whilst at Hafod-Y-Bryn for any kennel / cattery related matter up to the value of £1,250; however the insurance will not be applicable for pre-existing conditions or clinical signs of pre-existing conditions.
Terms & Conditions
Whilst every possible attention is given to each cat boarded with us, they are boarded entirely at the owner’s risk, as are cats sharing accommodation. Should we feel the need to separate them in the interests of the cat’s own safety; a relative charge for the extra accommodation will be levied.
Any current or ongoing problem with the cat’s health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse and cat that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or sick at the start of boarding.
Should it be necessary at our discretion for a vet to be called for any health condition prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner. All pets should be wormed recently. Should any pet on arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas, worms etc) then a charge will be levied for this.
We understand that our customers plans will change and that cancellations are inevitable; however, late cancellations will always leave us with a problem.
Our new policy is designed to be fair and reasonable to both parties.
