Terms & Conditions
*ALL PETS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED BEFORE STAYING WITH US. Dogs MUST be vaccinated against kennel cough. This can be administered intranasally, but must be done 2 weeks before staying with us. We reserve the right to refuse boarding to ANY pet who cannot provide evidence of up to date vaccinations.
*A valid emergency contact MUST be provided for all pets staying with us. Most times we struggle to contact owners when they are abroad, or the time delay becomes a problem. We must have access to someone who we can contact promptly if necessary.
*All pets must be dropped off/collected within our opening times. If you arrive outside of our opening times we may not be able to accept your pet. After our 6 o’clock closing time, the gates will be closed and locked to ensure the safety of the staff who remain on site beyond this time.
*Any pet who is not collected at the agreed collection slot, without prior agreement, will incur a £5 late collection fee for every collection slot missed, as well as any additional costs of boarding. We do not always have space available to extend an animals stay beyond what was originally booked.
*Whilst every possible attention is given to each pet boarded with us, they are boarded entirely at the owner’s risk (as are pets sharing accommodation). Should we feel the need to separate them in the interests of the pet’s own safety; a relative charge for the extra accommodation will be added. We shall not be held liable for illness, injury or loss of any animal in our care.
*If your dog is sociable, it will be let out to play with other dogs, of a similar size, temperament and energy level, unless stated that you would like your dog to be exercised alone. There is always a staff member present to supervise dogs out to play, however, there is always a risk. If any dog shows signs of aggression it will be taken out of a group setting immediately and exercised alone for the remainder of the stay.
*Any and all reactivity or agression MUST be disclosed to us upon booking.
*Dogs with a known bite history will not be accepted. In the event that a dog displays any behaviour which raises concerns for the safety of our staff or other dogs, we reserve the right to place the dog into isolation and/or contact the owner to arrange immediate collection. We further reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate boarding for any dog exhibiting aggressive or dangerous behaviour.
*If your dog is due in season, currently in season, just finished a season, or you suspect she may be having a silent season, you MUST inform staff of this on drop off. It is your responsibility to let us know that there is a risk of your dog becoming pregnant if you have asked us to socialise her. Each heat cycle typically lasts 2-4 weeks, and your dog is STILL FERTILE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK AFTER THE BLEEDING STOPS.
*Dogs from the same household will be separated should a bitch be in season whilst she is boarding with us if there is a male dog intended to share with her. They will be separated whether the male has been neutered or not. Neutered males can still mate and tie, and there is a risk of injury to both dogs should this happen. A relative charge for the extra accommodation will be levied.
*Any current or ongoing problem with the pet’s health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse any pet we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or illness at the start of boarding.
*All medication should be appropriately labelled for your pet, leaving no confusion. We should be provided with the original packaging from the vets so that we can accurately see dosage amounts, and the name of the medication. We will always need to know the reason for the medication. It is the owners responsibility to ensure that we have enough medication to see the pet through their stay. A charge will be added if we are required to collect additional medication from your vet.
*Any mediction requiring administration 12 hours apart should be discussed with us at the time of booking. There may be an extra charge added for this.
*We do not accept diabetic animals who require an insulin injection.
*All regular customers should inform their vet that their pet regularly stays with us. If a pet becomes ill whilst in our care and we cannot get hold of the owner, vets will no longer treat the animal, and in some cases wont even allow us to make an appointment. For this reason, owners should contact the vet ahead of time to inform them that we are regular care givers and give pre-permission to arrange relevant veterinary care, where absolutley necessary.
*Should it be necessary at our discretion for a vet to be called for any health condition that an animal is suffering with prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner. All pets should be wormed prior to their stay. Should any pet on arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas, worms etc) then a charge will be levied for this.
*Any costs incurred as a result of significant damage to property, or injury to staff or other animals caused by a pet will be the responsibility of the owner.
*All collars must be removed from cats before they are dropped off with us.
*Male cats must be neutered before they come to stay with us.
*We do not board pregnant animals.
*Dogs staying with us for 14 days or more must fill out a long stay form, with up to date vet details, contact details and emergency information. Any dog staying with us for this length of time will be walked at a minimum of once a week for £4.50, unless physically unable to, as a change of scenery from the kennels. Any additional walks can be requested on drop off.
*Price is inclusive of our standard food. Any pets needing special diets should be provided by the owner, such as puppy or kitten food or grain free food. If this food is not provided by an owner it be subject to a small surcharge to cover this. If a dog isn’t eating well and we need to buy in a specific food this will be added to the bill.
*We do not provide raw food diets.
*All bookings will require a deposit to be paid. Owners should read our cancellation policy and cancel in due time to receive a refund of their deposit.
*If a pet is not collected within the agreed period and we are unable to contact an owner or an emergency contact, we reserve the right to take appropriate action to ensure the welfare of the animal, including rehoming. Any costs incurred will remain the responsibility of the owner.
*We take photos and videos of the animals, which may be displayed on instragram, facebook, or our website.
Unfortunately we can no longer accept payments by AMERICAN EXPRESS due to the higher than normal processing fees that we are charged. We apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
