Adventure walks!

One of our favourite services we have ever added at Hafod Y Bryn is our Adventure Walks! Taking the dogs out to enjoy an adventure, offering new sights, smells and experiences to keep them mentally and physically stimulated, and lavish in some 1-1 time with their human caregivers has been so rewarding.  

Perfect for dogs who love to explore, these walks provide a refreshing change of environment and a chance to really enjoy their time away. 

To the beach or the woods? You choose! 

We have had adventures down to the beach, to the local woodland, which is a bit quieter than the beach, with much less chance of seeing other dogs or humans, and to various other destinations – which can be tailored to your dogs preference! 

The dogs seem to get SO much out of these trips out, and we are so glad we started to offer this service. We feel like its perfect for dogs who are staying with us for slightly longer holidays, to enjoy that change of scenery and have a break from the kennels. However, we’re happy to take any dog if we have the availability to do so. 

Safety 

We do keep all dogs on lead, and tend to use long lead options or extendable leads to offer a bit more freedom, without the worry of needing perfect recall. All dogs are tagged with our address and phone number, just in case, and we also have a tracker available to add to collars if necessary. All dogs are travelled in our company van, which is fitted with cages, and is fully insured. 

Pricing 

For Adventure Walks pricing starts at £18 for a 1 hour+ local trip out, for one dog. Prices may vary if you request a longer walk, or a destination of your choice, if it is slightly further than the local beach or woodland. Please enquire on booking if you’d like to treat your dog to an Adventure Walk, and allow plenty of notice for us to be able to accomadate a fun filled walk for your dog!
