Bryn is lying in his day bed when he smells something new and it his making his mouth water so up he gets and trots into the kitchen. As usual Hafod had beaten him to it’Bryn looks down at Hafod, what is it he says, New food I think replies Hafod. They are sitting by the kitchen door listening to the humans. The man human says wow look at the number of treats (Bryn’s ears pop up like they’re on springs) we been able to get from just that one mix. The female human says and yes we’ve been able to two sizes one for the dogs and smaller ones for the cats. I think this might save us a bob or two so let’s try them on Bryn and Hafod. The humans put down a couple of treats in the bowls available for them. Bryn’s were gone in a second and Hafod made a bit of investigation and then ate them hungrily.

Original recipe makes 2 dozen
- 2 Cups of wheat germ
- 2.5 ounce jars of strained chicken baby food
- 1 tablespoon of water
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the wheat germ, baby food, and water together.
- Add more water if necessary to form a dough.
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls (dog) smaller for (Cat) and place on cookie sheet.
- Flatten slightly with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Leave to cool before serving
